Apple keeps us guessing how we can copy music by adding new formats..

Because Apple has a need to be different in every way possible (innovative or just plain crazy? After all, many historical geniuses are mental--and I'm not talking about me, cause you have to be dead to be historical...), audio files selected for streaming will take on a different format to accommodate the poor and filthy rich internet users. No word on what type of files will be used for the "other" internet(s)--George Bush is still waiting on that news...

"Citing an anonymous source, U.K. news site The Guardian reported yesterday that the format would offer "adaptive streaming" to iCloud users, automatically choosing between low-quality and high-quality sound based on the bandwidth and amount of local storage.
Assuming the source's intel is accurate, the new format may be introduced on March 7 when Apple is expected to unveil the next iPad.
Many audiophiles have long complained about the loss of audio quality as music wends its way from the studio all the way down to portable media players. In his interview with AllThingsD, Young claims that Steve Jobs himself would go home and listen to music on plain, old analog vinyl records."

Audiophiles? Apparently there is a name for that too. Or someone decided that you can use anything with the suffix of --"philes". I am going to call myself a "baconandeggs-o-phile" See how I did that?--I am tellin' you--real live almost dead historical genius...
